Women of Color in Computing Collaborative

This project aims to: develop, test, and scale interventions to diversify tech. In 2019, researchers released a comprehensive data brief, detailing the lack of inclusion and representation for women and girls of color in computing from pre-k to entrepreneurship. This collaborative consists of 14 research projects exploring women of color in computing in various areas like education and venture capitalism. Some research projects include: Speaking Truth To Power: Exploring the Intersectional Experiences of Black Women in Computing, Building a Collaborative Network to Support WOC in UX/UI, and Access to Capital, Funding Vehicles, and Growth of Startups for Founders who are Women of Color.
