Responsible Innovation at UTO

Responsible innovation is key when advancing and solving problems with technology. Considering unintended outcomes or consequences is just one aspect of responsible innovation, which also involves confronting biases to make sure progress is brought to everyone. At UTO, chartered or self-organized “guilds” work together on common interests. One such guild is dedicated to responsible innovation, with members building accountability into exciting projects.

Responsible Innovation is seeking to build out its growing exploration and adoption of the Responsible Innovation framework within our technology, cultural and thought leadership efforts within the University Technology Office.
