Indigenous Computational Futures is a series of convenings aimed at amplifying Indigenous perspectives in the development and application of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and immersive technologies, by bringing together local experts to explore responsive innovation, identifying institutions that support sustainable technology development, and publishing key insights that have been shared in small groups and niche forums. By fostering trusted networks of scientists, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, and community-centered creatives, the initiative aims to promote people-centered, environmentally-conscious futures rooted in Indigenous knowledge and creativity
