Frankenstein200 Project

Frankenstein, written by Mary Shelley just over 200 years ago, is a world-famous story that explores issues of technology, science, and ethics. Frankenstein200, a project run by the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and the Center for Science and the Imagination, brings these themes into 21st century conversation by exploring the social dimensions of emerging technology.

Frankenstein200 equips participants to critically consider novel applications of science through digital and hands-on activities. From CRISPR to GMOs, the program builds public capacity to engage in policy discussions that directly impact their lives.
