Environmental Health Engineering
The Biodesign Center for Environmental Health Engineering is set up to safeguarding human health and critical ecosystems. They do so by detecting, minimizing, and ultimately eliminating harmful chemical and biological agents through the design and implementation of cost-effective engineering, industry engagement and public policy. The team works at the regional, national and global scale to better understand and manage key environmental determinants of human health and global sustainability. The purpose is to address the myraid of human health problems linked to environmental factors, such as environmental contamination, communicable diseases, impacts of nano-plastics and more..
