Emerge
Emerge is an annual public festival that brings science, technology, and art together to imagine the future. The festival is truly interdisciplinary. Humanists, scientists, arts, designers, performances, and scholars prototype and build tomorrow’s social and technological conditions.
Emerge takes on a new theme each year. Since beginning in 2012, the festival has explored the Future of Truth, the Future of Me, the Future of Sport, Frankenstein, living on the Moon, and invention. The public is invited to grow and flex their anticipatory skills. They leave having challenged their assumptions about socio-technical change through hands-on activities, workshops, exhibits, lectures, experiences, and interactions.
