Clinical testing for Covid-19

The COVID-19 lab, part of the Biodesign Institute, was the first lab in the United States to offer public saliva testing to identify the presence of COVID-19. COVID-19 saliva testing is a less invasive, less labor intensive process, requiring less medical personal, that is just as accurate. The clinical testing lab was set up when cases of SARS-CoV-2 appeared in Arizona. To create this public testing facility, they partnered with multiple Arizona partners. The system was all very accessible for less invasive saliva test, connected to an easy to use website portal, that is connected to a case-tracking system.
