The Center for Smart Cities and Regions is dedicated to advancing quality of life, inclusivity, and resilience in communities. A hub of expertise and collaboration, members work across sectors to build capacity within cities and regions to leverage technology towards public good. The Center for Smart Cities and Regions examines a range of socio-technical issues, including smart cities, educational modeling in Arizona, and urban resilience to climate change and extreme heat. Researchers generate scholarship, educational programs, and engagement opportunities that tackle real-world challenges, and in doing so, create more vibrant futures.
