Chemistry is the least represented of the major science fields in museums. Nevertheless, it is everywhere in daily life -- from our clothes, to our food, to our energy. ChemAttitudes, a project housed in the Center for Innovation in STEM Learning, is dedicated to increasing public interest in chemistry through education and engagement. ChemAttitudes develops and disseminates hands-on kits and learning activities that make chemistry personally relevant. Participants gain applied knowledge while building feelings of self-efficacy and confidence. Programming results in inclusive science and technology learning.
