The Center for Negative Carbon Emissions is dedicated to developing and advancing technologies that capture carbon dioxide. The center is an intellectual leader and pioneer in sustainable energy infrastructure design. Members maintain an ambitious goal of creating a carbon negative energy economy.
Considering the social, political, environmental, and ethical implications and consequences of carbon capture technologies is foundational to the center’s work. Members grapple with the implications and consequences of socio-technical change. And through scholarly research, teaching, and partnerships, they address the most pressing climate challenges of our time.
