The Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security is an interdisciplinary university-wide organization dedicated to research and practice. Members explore a range of emergency and security-related issues, including disaster analytics, risk reduction, risk and threat management, cross-sector operations, hazard governance, and more. The Center for Emergency Management and Homeland Security confronts evolving and complex social, economic, environmental, and technological challenges. Through applied projects, scholarly research, education, and close partnerships with critical communities, the center reduces risk and vulnerabilities and creates safer futures for all.
