Center for Accelerating Operational Efficiency

The Center for Accelerating Operational Efficiency (CAOE), is one of the programs by the Global Security Initiative and is led by Arizona State University. CAOE develops and applies advanced analytical tools and technologies to enhance planning, information sharing and real-time decision-making in homeland security operations. The research at CAOE helps the Department of Homeland Security improve efficiency and security at the national borders, ports and airports through better prediction and response to emergencies. The program is a partnership between ASU, Georgia Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, University at Albany — State University of New York, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, University of Southern California, University of Chicago, University of Texas at El Paso, and the University of California, Irvine.
